We are an organization called Education For All dedicated to providing children all over the world with an equal education opportunity. Our mission is to bridge the gap between poverty and education. When I was in El Salvador, my family and I visited many of the schools and towns there. I noticed that many of them didn't have more than a shelf of books for the entire school to use. It never occurred to me that an education was something that schools and families couldn't afford, and it was an eye-opening experience. I did a lot of research about families that couldn't afford an education. I didn't know that receiving an education was a problem in so many countries, including the United States. There are so many families and towns around us that don't have enough money to pay for their child's education. Education has always been so important to me and something that I have always had the luxury of school and books to read. Personally, I never knew this was an issue, and I wanted to do something to help. That's where I came up with the idea for my organization, Education For All, because I want to make sure every child has an equal education opportunity and doesn't feel any different than anyone else. I want to inspire teenagers like me that when they find an issue in society that they are unhappy with, they need to speak up and do something about it. Be the change you want to see in the world.
